And the winners are...

Untitled II
by Gail G.

I had once found clarity
then pain arrived
so stricken
I felt my soul had died

I know now
I had touched bliss
I now wonder
how I will go on like this

I had glimpsed
a life unencumbered
the true source
uninjured

I now see
with pain perception
knowing only
its consumption

I live now
with only force
far removed
from our source

when I look
at this torment
I question will I
survive the next moment

I do my best
amidst the pain
to find my soul
again
