I have to admit that it took guts to build a web site and "publish" the e-book "Migraines Managed."

A reader emailed me about a blog post with the title, "Migraines Down 75%, Medications Down 95%, My Drug-Free Insider Secret. I expected yet another scheme, and I found one.

The web site goes on and on about how well Julieann is doing "managing" her Migraines. She doesn't claim a cure, which is somewhat refreshing, but it's all downhill from there.

Julieann goes on and on about "managing Migraines instead of suffering from them," an attractive prospect. Then she offers her e-book that tells her secret -- for a "special introductory" price of $14.97. The regular price is supposedly $19.97; and there's no waiting for the book to be shipped. You can download it!

Julieann, as so many others on the Internet, goes on for page after page, explaining her secret. It's 41 pages of large type, repetitive, hype. In the end, she recommends a supplement. And, to make things even better (or worse, depending on how you want to use the terms), she just happens to sell the rather pricey supplement.

Oh, yes, Juliann claims to have a secret that has her Migraines "managed." Just pay her $14.97 for her book/pdf file, and at the end, she'll give you the link where you can go pay her $85 for a 30-day supply of her magic supplement.

The bottom line is that this isn't a book. It's a 41-page pdf ad, pure and simple. I'll leave you with two words to describe this so-called book: guts and greed.
